How each of these components can be used to form a 50mm round balustrade system

If you are trying to decide which components you need for your handrail installation, this is will help!

Joining round handrails around a corner or in a straight line

The 50mm round handrails come in both 2900mm and 5800mm lengths.  When installing these rails, it is best to try and reduce the joins and use a full lengths where possible.  Alternatively if you need to use joiners, then the best option is to try and keep the join in the middle of the run, and join the rails together using an inline 50mm handrail joiner.

Alternatively, if you are trying to join the rails around a corner in a 90 degree angle, then you will need the 90 degree 50mm handrail joiner.

Does your 50mm round handrail terminate at a wall or a freestanding section?

If your handrail is terminating onto a free standing area you will need a 50mm round flat end cap for a clean finished end.  Alternatively if you are terminating at a wall or a post, your best option is to use a round 50mm wall bracket to add stability to the fence.

Selecting glass panels and brackets to fit your round 50mm handrail onto your glass

If you have decided to go with the face mounted glass system, then you will need to also purchase the accompanying stainless steel glass standoffs to make this system work so that the glass can be secured onto the face of the surface.

Alternatively, if you prefer the spigot & handrail panels, then you will need to purchase the accompanying 2205 mini posts for glass balustrades to complete the system.

In either case, you will require the 50mm round handrail standoff brackets to fix the handrail on to the glass.  You require two of these for every panel, and the brackets come in adjustable heights to make sure that you can get the desired finish.Browse our selection of round 50mm hand rail and associated fittings below.
